Main Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Products and Services Emerging Markets Lead as well as Greater Chinaleadership to promote and execute Procurement vision and mission and to drive local and global category strategies
Be responsible for developing the procurement sourcing strategy across category within Greater Chinato deliver measurable benefits to the Firm including aligning with business goals, value creation and savings targets.
Ensure the teams applies the strategic sourcing process within their Regions including stakeholder engagement, opportunity assessment, market and requirements analysis, establishing sourcing strategy, supplier selection & negotiation and contract/supplier management.
Build and manage local business relationships with executive stakeholders within Greater Chinawith the key focus of providing exceptional customer service.
Ensure the value of supplier management by the procurement teams – such as championing the benefits of best-in-class strategic sourcing principles and practices and the importance of appropriate supplier relationships.
Work effectively with other category and geographic Procurement leaders to develop/promote the use of common processes, tools and strategies.
Assist with the implementation of the Source to Pay (“S2P”) strategy within Greater China according to the agreed roll-out plan.
Travel (including potentially international travel) is expected for strategic planning, project coordination and implementation within Greater China.

Strong Procurement expertise in order to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of categories.

Strong manager with experience of managing teams located in different geographies

Strategic thinker with an analytical mind
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent IT skills with a detailed understanding of MS Excel

Ability to operate calmly under pressure
Chinese mother tongue, very fluent English is a must
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 10-15 years sourcing experience at managerial level or above, in multinational companies
Education – Graduate Level degree qualified
Professional Membership – fully qualified member of relevant professional qualification
Deep relevant category knowledge in Facility Management, Professional Services, Marketing and HR
Good working knowledge of supplier relationship management practices
Experience of a variety of negotiations in a procurement/sourcing context
Experience essential in being able to engage with senior stakeholders within a similar organization and ability to maintain a robust stance when required
